01 May, 2025

A credit card* for private customers is now available for opening in the NovaPay* app. After applying for it, users will have two cards in their wallet: the main debit card for their funds, crediting of salary and cash-on-delivery, and a credit card for convenient daily expenses from credit funds with a long grace period.
The grace period for the NovaPay credit card is up to 62 days, meaning that during this time, you can repay the credit funds at a preferential interest rate of 0.00001% per annum. It applies to payments for goods and services in stores, on the Internet, mobile communications, utilities, Internet, TV, insurance, education, taxes, and charity via the NovaPay app, as well as to payments for parcel delivery services by Nova poshta and cash-on-delivery.
You can apply for a card in the NovaPay app in just a few clicks; you need to:
- select the ‘Loans’ section on the home screen and click “Apply for a credit card”;
- wait up to 10 seconds for the credit scoring result;
- read the terms and conditions, and find out the available credit limit;
- confirm the opening of a credit card using the SMS code. And it’s done!
“The launch of the credit card is a response to our users’ request for a flexible solution for everyday expenses. We see the demand for our credit products: NovaPay’s loan portfolio has grown 2.5 times over the past year alone and exceeded UAH 1 billion. Ukrainians are looking for convenient ways to meet their financial needs here and now. That is why we have made the card easy to apply for, with transparent terms and a grace period,” — says Bohdan Hryvko, NovaPay’s Chief Risk Officer.
The maximum credit limit is up to UAH 200,000. The base interest rate is 60% per annum, the real interest rate is 79.59%. The credit line is revolving, meaning that after repayment, the available limit is automatically renewed.
NovaPay is an international financial service part of the NOVA group of companies (Nova poshta). It has provided online and offline payment services in more than 3,600 Nova poshta branches for almost 13 years. NovaPay was the first non-bank financial institution in Ukraine to receive an extended NBU license, which allowed it to open accounts and issue cards.
** The credit card was created from credit products of two companies operating under the NovaPay brand: a card from NovaPay LLC and a revolving credit line from NovaPay Credit LLC.
