About Open Banking
Open Banking is when you decide who to grant access to your financial data and in what format. You have complete control. With your consent, fintech companies and payment services will be able to access your accounts through standardised API interfaces. In Ukraine, Open Banking is being implemented in accordance with the rules established by the National Bank and in line with international standards, similar to the European PSD2 system.

Compensation for losses and cooperation with providers in the event of erroneous, rejected, or unauthorised payment transactions
If a payment initiated via a third-party provider (payment service provider) turns out to be erroneous, unauthorised, or the result of fraud, NovaPay will contact the provider and conduct an internal investigation.
To clarify the circumstances, we may request additional documents from the provider. They are obliged to respond within 5 working days. If, for any reason, they are unable to do so within this timeframe, they must notify us and specify a new deadline.
If the decision regarding the refund is made in favour of the user, we will refund the money and resolve the issue with the provider ourselves.
If the investigation finds that the transaction was carried out due to the provider’s fault, NovaPay is entitled to claim compensation from the provider.
Communication between NovaPay and the provider takes place via the ‘VCHASNO’ service or by email, as well as through direct negotiations. This is set out in the ‘Regulations on the Organisation of Open Banking at NovaPay LLC’.
