The fee depends on the country from which the transfer is sent. The sender of the transfer pays the fee.

Payouts of Western Union, Ria, and MoneyGram transfers at NovaPay cash desks operating at Nova poshta branches are made exclusively in Ukrainian hryvnia.

The international payment system sets the rate at which the transfer is converted into hryvnia when the sender sends the transfer.

The Western Union, Ria, and MoneyGram transfer recipient must be an adult.

You can receive Western Union, Ria, and MoneyGram money transfers in cash at a convenient NovaPay point located at Nova poshta branches throughout Ukraine.
RIA transfers cannot be received in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The rules of international payment systems prohibit the issuance of transfers by power of attorney. Only the person specified by the sender can receive the transfer. To change the data, the recipient must contact the sender.

The abbreviation MTCN means the control number or transfer code in the international payment system Western Union. This is precisely what it stands for – Money Transfer Control Number.

The Western Union transfer number consists of 10 digits. It is called MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) and is reported to the transfer payer when the funds are sent.

Western Union transfers from individuals must be received within 90 days. If the funds are not received within this period, the sender is informed, and the transfer may be withdrawn upon request.
Western Union transfers from legal entities must be received within 30 days.
Transfers from the UN World Food Programme must be received within 30 days. Otherwise, the recipient must call the organization's hotline at 0 800 600 122 or reapply for assistance.

he World Food Programme (WFP) is a UN humanitarian organization that provides cash food aid to internally displaced persons (IDPs). The assistance is provided monthly for 3 months. The amount of the aid is UAH 2,220 per person, with a maximum transfer amount of UAH 6,660 per family (up to 3 people or more).
To apply for the assistance, you need to contact local authorities.

After completing the application, the assistance recipient will receive a message with the Western Union transfer number (MTCN code), which can be used to contact any Nova poshta branch to receive a cash transfer. You can verify your identity with a paper passport or ID card or via the Diia mobile app.
