NovaPay has already implemented 7.5 thousand of its own POS terminals in Nova poshta branches
26 May, 2025

In October 2023, NovaPay began building its own fleet of point-of-sale (POS) terminals. Today, in a little over a year and a half, their number has exceeded 7.5 thousand devices operating throughout the country. Currently, 75% of card payments at Nova poshta’s branches are made through NovaPay POS terminals.
“By investing in our own terminal network, we sought not only to replace external solutions but also to rethink the customer experience completely. Therefore, payments became faster: 15 seconds instead of 22, the number of technical failures decreased, and our dependence on third-party providers was minimized. Thus, today, NovaPay’s terminal fleet is one of the largest in the country,” says Olexii Ruban, Chief Innovation Officer at NovaPay.
NovaPay’s future plans include expanding the terminal network to 10,000 units by the end of 2025 and introducing this technical solution to the open market, targeting companies and partners that require efficient payment solutions.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, as of spring 2025, there are more than 400,000 POS terminals in Ukraine; however, their coverage remains uneven, particularly in small towns and villages. The regulator reported that in the first quarter of 2025, NovaPay and a large state-owned bank were the leaders in the growth of the POS terminal network.
