Ihor Syrovatko appointed CEO of NovaPay

NovaPay, the fintech leader of the NOVA group of companies, has announced the appointment of Ihor Syrovatko as CEO. Syrovatko is a manager with over 20 years of experience in the banking sector, e-commerce, and customer service. This appointment marks a new stage in the development of the Ukrainian fintech company, which in just a few years has grown from an internal payment service for Nova poshta to a financial partner for 800,000 users.

‘Modern financial services are first and foremost about trust, security, and simplifying routines for private customers, as well as efficiency and scalability for entrepreneurs. This is our primary goal. After all, real value is created when you help every customer, whether an individual or an entrepreneur, feel that financial instruments work for them, not against them,’ comments Ihor Syrovatko.

Ihor Syrovatko brings 20 years of experience in retail and B2B segments to NovaPay. Having gained significant financial experience at Universal Bank, where he rose from branch manager to director of the branch network department, he gained a deep understanding of working with both private clients and entrepreneurs, as well as scaling financial services. At OLX, Ihor headed the customer service department in Ukraine and Central Asia, successfully developing the B2B direction and creating expert teams to work with business clients.

Under the leadership of the new CEO, NovaPay will develop as a financial company focused on various customer segments, from individuals to businesses, offering an even wider range of services. Ihor’s experience in creating customer-centric services, scaling financial products, and building highly effective teams will form the foundation for the next stage of growth. A particular focus will be on bringing NovaPay’s customer service to an international level of quality so that Ukrainian users and businesses can experience world-class service standards. The new CEO brings to the company a unique approach to management and a culture of continuous development, where the main priority is not processes, but solving real customer problems.

The new stage in NovaPay’s work involves significant changes, but these are not changes for the sake of change. My focus is on two key aspects. The first is to make the most of the company’s existing strengths: a powerful team, innovation, and the group’s significant potential. The second is to attract the best international expertise in the field of fintech. It is in this synergy that I see the key to success,’ summarises the new CEO.
