An individual pays the fee for a transfer via the Western Union international payment system – the sender of the transfer.

The fee depends on the country from which the transfer is sent. The sender of the transfer pays the fee.

Payout of transfers at NovaPay cash desks operating in Nova poshta branches is carried out exclusively in Ukrainian hryvnia.

The Western Union international payment system sets the exchange rate for the payout of a transfer. The sender will receive all the information about the exchange rate, the amount of the transfer, and restrictions in the country where the money is sent at the time of the transfer.

The abbreviation MTCN refers to a control number or transfer code in the Western Union international payment system. This is exactly what it stands for – Money Transfer Control Number.

The Western Union transfer number consists of 10 digits. It is called MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) and is reported to the payer of the transfer when sending funds.

Identification and verification of customers who send or receive Western Union international money transfers at Nova poshta branches are carried out in accordance with the standards of Ukrainian legislation on financial transactions. Western Union transfers from individuals must be received within 90 days. If the funds are not received within this time, the sender is notified, and the transfer can be revoked upon request.
Western Union transfers from legal entities must be received within 30 days.
Transfers from the UN World Food Program must be received within 30 days. Otherwise, the recipient needs to call the organization's hotline at 0 800 600 122 or reapply for assistance.

The rules of the Western Union international payment system prohibit the issuance of transfers under the power of attorney. Only the person specified by the sender can receive the transfer. To change the data, the recipient must contact the sender.

The World Food Program (WFP) is a UN humanitarian organization that provides cash food aid to internally displaced persons (IDPs). The assistance is monthly for 3 months. The amount of assistance is UAH 2,220 per person, with a maximum transfer amount of UAH 6,660 per family (up to 3 people or more).
To apply for the allowance, you need to contact local authorities.
After registration, the recipient will receive a message on their mobile phone with the Western Union transfer number (MTCN code), which can be used to contact any Nova poshta branch to receive a cash transfer.
