470 thousand customers of the NovaPay app: results for the year of operation

A year ago, NovaPay was the first non-bank to launch its financial application with a payment card. Since then, almost 470 thousand Ukrainians have become users of the app. Every day, 1300 customers activate their cards in the app.

Every two weeks, the NovaPay team presents updates to the app, adding new products, features and improvements to each release. This year, 26 updates were made for Android users and 22 for iOS users.

Customers accessed the app more than 17.5 million times during the year. The total number of all transactions through the NovaPay app for the year is 31 million. It is about 85 thousand transactions per day. The most popular functions of the app were money transfers and payments for logistics services.

“In December last year, we launched a beta version of the app with important but minimal features – payments and transfers, Parcel on Credit, and Benefit, which allows customers to save money when paying for Nova poshta parcels in the mobile app. By the way, the Benefit has already been used 4 million times, thus saving UAH 60 million. During this time, the app has become a full-fledged financial application that allows you to carry out all daily financial transactions, invest, maintain the financial routine of your business, etc”, – says Yana Levada, Director of Business Development at NovaPay.

During this time, NovaPay introduced new features, which include:

• purchase of its own corporate bonds*, which Ukrainians have already bought in the app for more than UAH 400 million, and in total, customers have invested about UAH 740 million in securities;
• installment, plan, which more than 16.5 thousand customers used for more than UAH 500 million in less than six months. At the same time, almost UAH 240 million worth of parcels were taken on credit;
• a convenient way to collect and save money – Case. More than 20 thousand cases have been opened since September;
• services for individual entrepreneurs: opening an account, issuing powers of attorney, and issuing business cards. Currently, 28 thousand individual entrepreneurs have joined NovaPay;
• payment splitting;
• top-up and withdrawal of cash from the NovaPay card using a barcode in any of the 3,600 Nova Poshta branches;
• lightning-fast payments via IBAN – the ability to easily and quickly put all the data for the payment in place from a photo, an uploaded file, or the entire copied message without unnecessary movements;
• the ability to receive a salary on the card;
• convenient templates for quick payments and the ability to set up auto-payments;
• personalization and emotional component – the ability to change the card design, choose thematic, custom, and seasonal skins, predictions after each payment, the ability to respond to transfers with “emotions”;
• and much more – for fast, easy and convenient payments and a pleasant user experience.
