The NBU has confirmed that NovaPay is one of Ukraine’s most important payment systems, and NovaPay Credit is on the list of significant financial companies

The National Bank of Ukraine has once again recognised NovaPay as a key element of the country’s payment infrastructure. In the new list of important payment systems published by the regulator, the company is included in the top five systems that ensure the stability and continuity of financial transactions in the country.

The list includes:

• Visa, Visa International Service Association, USA;
• MasterCard, MasterCard International Incorporated, USA;
• PrivatMoney, JSC CB PrivatBank, Ukraine;
• NovaPay, NovaPay LLC, Ukraine;
• Financial World, Ukrainian Payment System LLC, Ukraine.

Its status as an important payment system confirms that NovaPay meets all the requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine regarding management, process organisation, service availability, risk management, and cyber resilience.

By the end of 2025, NovaPay had processed 430 million transfers, and the total transaction volume reached UAH 389.7 billion, highlighting the system’s scale and importance to the country’s financial market.

Also in January, NovaPay Credit was included in the list of significant financial companies. The list, published for the first time by the National Bank, includes 53 financial companies.

This is yet another official confirmation that NovaPay plays a systemic role in the development of the Ukrainian financial market and in ensuring the smooth operation of the country’s payment infrastructure.
