A new approach to cash-on-delivery: NovaPay has reduced fees and simplified the terms and conditions

NovaPay has updated its cash-on-delivery tariffs for sellers and buyers. The new terms have been in effect since 29 April: they are now simpler, more transparent, and more cost-effective. Businesses now have greater flexibility in choosing a payment model, whilst consumers can save money on cash-on-delivery payments.

The best terms apply to those who use a NovaPay account for both receiving funds and making payments.

Two tariff options have been introduced for businesses:

💼 Universal tariff – the fee is split between the seller and the buyer:

👉 for the seller:
0,5% – with a NovaPay account;
1,3% – with an account at another financial institution.

👉 for the buyer:
1% + UAH 10 – for payments made with NovaPay cards via the NovaPay and Nova poshta mobile apps (in the NovaPay app – with the option to receive an additional 20% benefit from the fee);
2% + UAH 20 – for payments made with a card from another financial institution or in cash.

💼 Standard tariff – the seller covers all costs; the buyer pays no fee. The following rates apply:
2,5% – for sellers with a NovaPay account;
3,3% – for those who receive funds to an account with another financial institution.

This approach allows businesses to choose the model that best suits their financial situation and customer experience. At the same time, customers can continue to use the familiar cash-on-delivery format – checking the goods before paying – but now on more favorable terms.
