Western Union transfers from individuals must be received within 90 days. If the funds are not received within this period, the sender is informed, and the transfer may be withdrawn upon request. Western Union transfers from legal entities must be received within 30 days. Transfers from the UN World Food Programme must be received within 30 days. Otherwise, the recipient must call the organization's hotline at 0 800 600 122 or reapply for assistance.
How can I get help from the UN WFP at the Nova poshta branch?
he World Food Programme (WFP) is a UN humanitarian organization that provides cash food aid to internally displaced persons (IDPs). The assistance is provided monthly for 3 months. The amount of the aid is UAH 2,220 per person, with a maximum transfer amount of UAH 6,660 per family (up to 3 people or more). To apply for the assistance, you need to contact local authorities. After completing the application, the assistance recipient will receive a message with the Western Union transfer number (MTCN code), which can be used to contact any Nova poshta branch to receive a cash transfer. The control number can consist of numbers and letters and contain from 6 to 14 characters.
What are the restrictions for RIA transfers?
A transfer from abroad cannot exceed UAH 399,999. A transfer not received within 21 days is returned to the sender.
How can I ask RIA representatives in Ukraine questions?
You can get advice by calling the official RIA support center at +380 44 331 24 20. The hotline is open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00. You can ask a question and get an answer in Ukrainian and English.
What does the MoneyGram transfer control number look like?
The MoneyGram transfer control number consists of 8 digits.
Are there any restrictions for transfers via MoneyGram?
Yes, there are. One transfer can be USD 10,000 or EUR 7,000 in the equivalent of the national currency, the hryvnia. This limit applies to both sending and receiving funds. Also, one client can send and receive up to USD 25,000 within 3 months or USD 75,000 within 12 months. The transfer can be received within 90 days. Transfers not received during this time can only be returned to the sender.
Is receiving a transfer or payment of humanitarian aid from Red Rose possible?
We are working on this, but currently, you can only receive transfers from individuals. To receive transfers from legal entities, please contact another MoneyGram partner.
